Removing the Dryer Drive Pulley

IMPORTANT
For this procedure the processor must
be deenergized. See page 1-6. In
addition, the TOP COVER and
RECEIVING-END ACCESS PANEL
must be removed from the processor.
See pages 1-3 through 1-5 for
instructions, if necessary.
Loosen the SCREWS slowly and
carefully to avoid releasing the
SPRING unexpectedly.
[1] Loosen the 2 SCREWS securing the
TENSIONER BRACKET to relax the
compression of the SPRING.
[2] To release the tension on the DRYER DRIVE
BELT, remove the SPRING from the
TENSIONER BRACKET.
