5.8. Switching the Controller Left/Right Side Position

5.8.1. Standard
(1) Removal

Remove the clamps that are securing the
lead wires from the controller to the battery
seat.

Remove the plate cover on the battery
seat.

Pull out the lead wires stored in the battery
box, remove the clamps, and disconnect
the connectors from the circuit board.

From the under holder, remove the control-
ler with the upper holder.

Remove the under holder from the frame,
and attach it on the left side of the frame,
so that the position of each component will
be symmetrically opposite from when it
was previously on the right side.

Remove the plate assembly from the re-
mote controller assembly, pull out the
metal plate, and change the direction of
the rubber hand rest.
(2) Installation

Fit the metal plate into the remote control-
ler assembly, and then install the assembly
to the left side of the wheelchair.
