The stack is managed primarily through the Master switch. The Master switch then
pushes configuration changes and run‐time information to the Member switches.
Use Telnet or the Browser‐Based Interface (BBI) to access the Master, as follows:
 Use the management IP address assigned to the Master by the management
system.
 On any switch in the stack, connect to any port that is not part of an active LAG
and is a member of a VLAN. To access the stack, use the IP address of any IP
interface that is member of the VLAN.
From the Master switch, you can connect to any other switch in the stack directly
from the ISCLI using the following command:
CN 4093# connect <asnum (1‐16)>
The administrator can reboot individual switches in the stack, or the entire stack
using the following commands:
CN 4093(config)# reload
CN 4093(config)# reload master
CN 4093(config)# reload switch <csnum list> (Reboot only the listed switches)
Note: If no backup switch is present in the stack, the reload master command
will reboot all switches.
