Practical configuration examples

7.7.1.

Loop configuration

The example describes the procedure for configuring a PID
with the following features:
Heat/Cool action;
K thermocouple input;
digital control output with Heat/Cool action;
2 absolute Maximum and Minimum alarms.
For the configuration of the PID, the following variables
(signals) of the F-MIX module are used:

(DO4)
To configure the PID loop, proceed as follows:
1.
Login with level 2 password.
Select SETUP.

Select HW CFG.

Configure the type of thermocouple associated with
channel 1 (AI1) of the F-MIX module.
Touch IN1 Type and select TC_K (K thermocouple).
The default variable associated with the temperature
value of channel 1 is AI_01.
