Making changes to the configurator

The buttons on the main page (see image below)
can be used to make changes to various sections of the
device. In particular,
• the "PROGRAMMER EDITOR" button can be used to
set the sections of the 2850T-3850T product in relation
to the programs
• the "LOOP" button can be used to set the sections
of the 2850T-3850T product in relation to the control
loops
• the "GETview" button can be used to set the sections
of the 2850T-3850T product in relation to custom
pages
• the "USERS" button can be used to set the sections of
the 2850T-3850T product in relation to users
• the "CFG HARDWARE" button can be used to set
the 2850T-3850T product sections in relation to the
hardware configuration
• the "SETUP" button can be used to set the
2850T-3850T product sections in relation to optional
functions
• the "ENERGY" button can be used to set the
2850T-3850T production sections in relation to the
Energy count
• the "VARIABLES" button can be used to set the
2850T-3850T product sections in relation to the
variables used in the product
• the "PARAMETERS" button can be used to access
the parameter grid managed via Modbus TCP for the
2850T-3850T product
• the "USER MANUAL" button can be used to access
the part of the Gefran web site about controllers
Whenever the user makes any changes in any of the sections
of the project listed above, the words "Sync required" will
appear next to the corresponding button (see image below)

9. 2850T-3850T configuration in GF_eXpress
to remind the user to transfer the files to the target in order to
make the changes effective.
Warning!
Changes made directly on the target are not
automatically detected by the configurator. In these
cases, the user must remember to reread the files from
the target in order to update the configurator. If this is
not done, all the changes made on the device will be lost
the next time files are transferred from the configurator
to the target.
When the configurator is connected to the target (HW
configuration and functional options aligned between the
configurator and the 2850T-3850T device), the user may
decide to:
• send all the files in the application to the target, with
the changes made using the configurator, using the
"Write files to target" command (see image below)
• reread all the application files from the target, losing
all the changes made using the configurator, using the
"Read files from target" command (see image below)
• The paragraphs below describe the configurations
associated with the various buttons appearing on the
main page.
