9. 2850T-3850T configuration in GF_eXpress
The buttons positioned above the graph may be used to:
9.4.2.

"LOOP" section

As stated above, the "LOOP" button may be used to set the
sections of the 2850T-3850T product corresponding to the
control loops
When the button is pressed, the user goes into the
configuration page for the various LOOPS (see image below)
The meaning of the various parameters making up the
different tabs is described in the section entitled "4.15.4. PID
CFG sub-menu" on page 82 and its sub-sections.
9.4.3.

"GETview" section

As stated above, the "VIEW" button may be used to set the
sections in the 2850T-3850T product in relation to custom
pages
When the button is pressed, the user goes into the custom
configuration page (see image below)

On the left side of the screen are the buttons corresponding
to various different graphic components that may be used
in custom pages. The characteristics and configuration of
these elements appear in the chapters entitled "5.3. Creating
a custom page" on page 92 and "5.4. Custom page
creation tutorial" on page 97 and their sub-sections.
The lower part of the screen contains buttons for selecting
the custom pages to be edited.
On the right side of the page is an area for setting:
• the background image to be adopted for the custom
page selected ("background image" parameter)
• the resolution of the grid in which to deposit graphic
components ("grid" parameter). The default grid
resolution is 1 pixel ("grid" parameter of 0 or empty
string)
The graphic components for image management can
process images in the bmp, gif, jpeg, png and tiff formats.
If the image is not in an acceptable format, no matter what
its file extension, the error message "Invalid image file" will
appear.
If the image to be used takes up more than the available
amount of space, it may be rescaled to fit it into the available
space.
Even if the image is rescaled to fit it into the available
area on the page, it will still take up the same amount of
space in memory, so it is not advisable to use images
that take up too many MB and then rescale them in the
pages.
Use of images with a size already appropriate for the
area in which they will be used is recommended.
9.4.3.1.

MANAGEMENT OF GRAPHIC COMPONENTS

To add a component:
1. select the corresponding button
2. mouse click on the point in the page (black area)
where you wish to deposit the component
Once deposited, the component will also be selected, and a
section for its configuration will appear on the right side of
the page. This section varies depending on the component
selected.
