Raise the lower control arm approximately 10 mm
with a jack.

(1) In st a ll t h e lower con t r ol a r m t o t h e fr a m e.
H a n d t igh t en t h e n u t s a n d bolt s.
NOTE: In order to remove tension from the strut,
Raise the lower control arm approximately 10 mm
with a jack.
(2) In st a ll t h e lower ba ll join t in t o t h e st eer in g
kn u ckle. Tigh t en t o 280 N·m (206 ft . lbs.).
(3) In st a ll t h e st r u t bolt s t o t h e st eer in g kn u ckle
(F ig. 8). Tigh t en t o 185 N·m (136 ft . lbs.).
(4) In st a ll t h e st op pla t e (Refer t o 2 - SUSP E N-
SION/F RONT/SP RING STOP P LATE S - INSTALLA-
TION).
(5) Lower t h e lower con t r ol a r m .

t o t h e fr a m e t o 150 N·m (110 ft . lbs.) (F ig. 8).
(13) Apply br a ke t o a ct u a t e br a ke pr essu r e.

bor e in t h e st eer in g kn u ckle (F ig. 9).
