Ignition OFF
EMS ECU wiring harness
connector DISCONNECTED
Gear neutral sensor wiring
harness connector
DISCONNECTED
Check the resistance between
pin 3 of the gear neutral sensor
wiring harness connector and
ground
YES
Suspect faulty gear neutral
sensor
Replace the sensor with a new
one
Clear the DTC and verify

Is the value < 1Ω?

Repair/replace the wiring
harness
Clear the DTC and verify
