P0183 -Signal range check for fuel temperature sensor above maximum limit
FUEL TEMPERATURE SENSOR
The fuel temperature sensor is a variable resistor whose resistance changes as the temperature of the fuel
flowing past the sensor changes.(NTC resistor) When the fuel temperature is low, the sensor resistance is
high; when the fuel temperature is high, the sensor resistance is low.

EMS
During ignition ON , the measured output voltage value of the fuel temperature
sensor is between 0.1 to 3.3 V
The measured output voltage of the fuel temperature sensor is more than 3.3
V for 4 seconds
Open fuel temperature wiring harness
Short to battery of fuel temperature wiring harness
Faulty fuel temperature sensor
Faulty EMS ECU
No warning lamp indication
Engine will run with a default fuel temperature of 20 °C
