STEP 2
Ignition OFF
Injector 4 wiring harness
connector DISCONNECTED
Check the resistance between
pin 2 and pin 1 of Injector 4
wiring harness connector
YES
STEP 3
Ignition OFF
Injector 4 wiring harness
connector DISCONNECTED
Check the resistance between
pin 1 and pin 2 of the injector 4
Suspect EMS ECU malfunction
Replace EMS ECU with a new
one.
Check and verify for any new
DTC's

Connect the smart tester
Turn the ignition ON
Initialise the diagnostic tool
Record the DTC and clear
Turn ignition OFF
Turn ignition ON
Verify if P0270 is present?
YES Is P0270 present?
Is the value =∞Ω?
YES Is the value =0.255 ±
0.040 Ω?

Intermittent problem exists
Refer the intermittent problem
inspection procedure
NO
Examine the short circuit of
Injector 4 high side and low side
wires
Repair/replace the wiring
harness
Clear the DTC and verify

harness
Clear the DTC and verify
