DIAGNOSTIC MANUAL
STEP 2
Ignition OFF
Ensure the fan low speed relay
is fixed properly in the
connector of the engine
compartment fuse box
Remove the fan low speed
relay
Check the functioning of relay by
providing 12V to terminal 85
and ground to terminal 86
STEP 3
Ignition OFF
Remove the fan low speed relay
Check the resistance between
pin 30 and pin 86 of the fan
low speed relay
YES
Go to STEP 4

Connect the smart tester
Turn the ignition ON
Initialise the diagnostic tool
Record the DTC and clear
Turn ignition OFF
Turn ignition ON
Verify if P0692 is present?
YES Is P0692 present?
YES Is a clicking sound
heard?
Is the value =∞Ω?

Intermittent problem exists
Refer the intermittent problem
inspection procedure
NO
Replace the fan low speed relay
with a new one
Clear the DTC and verify
NO
Replace the fan low speed relay
with a new one
