Rail pressure below minimum limit error in Metering Unit mode

The ECU compares the rail pressure monitored through the rail pressure sensor

against the expected pressure generated due to HPP ( Based on MPROP

position and the engine RPM and coolant temperature )

Rail pressure falls below the limiting value

Clogged Fuel filter, leakage in fuel lines

Leakage in high pressure pipes, injector stuck in open position, worn HPP,

worn injectors

System check lamp ON

Engine shuts off

Ignition OFF/ON
