DIAGNOSTIC MANUAL
STEP 2

Ignition OFF

Boost pressure sensor wiring
harness connector
DISCONNECTED
Ignition ON
Check the voltage between pin
2 of the boost pressure sensor
wiring harness connector and
battery ground
STEP 3
If the Voltage is greater than
5.25V , check for short to
battery of the boost
temperature signal wire
Ignition OFF
Boost pressure sensor wiring
harness connector
DISCONNECTED
EMS ECU wiring harness

connector DISCONNECTED

Check the resistance between

pin 87 EMS ECU wiring harness
connector and pin 2 of the of
the boost pressure sensor

wiring harness connector

YES
Suspect EMS ECU malfunction
Replace EMS ECU with a new
one.
Check and verify for any new
DTC's

Connect the smart tester

Turn the ignition ON
Initialise the diagnostic tool
Record the DTC and clear
Turn ignition OFF
Turn ignition ON
Verify if P007D is present?
YES
Is P007D present?
NO
Is the value =5 ± 0.25
Is the value < 1Ω?

STEP 1

Intermittent problem exists
Refer the intermittent problem
inspection procedure
YES
Go to STEP 4
NO
Examine the open circuit of
boost temperature signal wire

Repair/replace the wiring

harness

Clear the DTC and verify
