Interval Maintenance work
Before every op- Check supply lines and connection hoses for leaks and replace as
eration necessary
Check all O-rings and rubber seals and replace if necessary
Check the vessels integrity and replace if necessary
Check all filters, replace exit gas filter
After every fer- Sterilise and clean the vessel, the vessel top plate, built in parts of the
mentation / culti- vessel top plate, corrective reagent hoses and bottles and pump
vation heads.
After max. 4000 Stirrer shaft cell cultures:

Exchange the ball bearings
(approx. 6
months)
Every 6 months Check and calibrate the measurement chains (Pt-100, O2, pH etc.)
with a simulator.
If required Clean the basic unit and the operating panel with a damp cloth or dis-
infect with an appropriate disinfectant (depending on what substances
may accidentally come into contact with the basic unit and/or operat-
ing panel)
Wipe the screen of the operating panel with a cloth used for computer
screens, laptops etc.
