Mounting of the planar surface gantries and the three-dimensional
gantries (partially mounted)
Note
Incorrect mounting can cause malfunction and material damage. Tension in the handling
system. Deterioration of the technical characteristics (service life, wear). Failure.
• Have mounting be performed by qualified personnel.
• Use original parts (without unauthorised modifications).
• Mount parts in excellent condition (without damage).
• Align axes carefully. Avoid warping, misalignment and offset.
• Clean shafts/hollow shafts.
The coupling only grips without sliding on dry and grease-free shaft surfaces.
• Observe tightening torques.
Tolerance for tightening torques without indication of tolerance: ± 20 %.
For products without motor or with motors without brake:
Warning
Moving parts are not secured. Moving parts run uncontrollably into the lower end posi­
tion from their own dead weight.
Injury due to impact or pinching. Damage to the product.
• Bring vertically or diagonally moving parts into the lower end position in a controlled
manner.
• Secure vertically or diagonally moving parts.
Described is mounting of the X-/Y-/Z-modules to a linear gantry or three-dimensional gantry.
• Pay attention to transport protection (è 2.4 Transport locks).
