When HOLD of analog output value is not available

Check item
Is the analog output HOLD/CLEAR function setting correct?
3 TROUBLESHOOTING

3.3 Troubleshooting by Symptom
Is the drive mode setting correct?
Is the output mode setting correct?
Is the user range setting selected?
Is D/A conversion disabled set to CH D/A
conversion enable/disable setting of the
channel to output a wave signal?
Has 'Operating condition setting request' (Y9)
been executed?
Is any value written to the wave data registry
area which is used for the channel to output a
wave signal?
Is Wave output stop request (0) set to CH
Wave output start/stop request of the channel
to output a wave signal?
Is 'CH Output enable/disable flag' (Y1 to
Y8) of the channel to output a wave signal
off?
Is the external power supply 24VDC
supplied?
Corrective action
Check that 'Offset/gain setting mode flag' (XA) is off, and the operation mode
setting is normal mode.
If the normal mode (D/A conversion process) is not set, set the operation
mode setting to the normal mode (D/A conversion process) in the module
parameter setting of the engineering tool.
Check that the output mode is set to the wave output mode.
If the wave output mode is not set, set the output mode setting to the wave
output mode in the module parameter setting of the engineering tool.
If the output mode setting is set to the wave output mode, the output range
cannot be set to the user range setting (current) or user range setting
(voltage).
If the user range setting (current) or user range setting (voltage) is set to the
output range, set a value other than the user range setting.
Check CH D/A conversion enable/disable setting and set D/A conversion
enable.
Turn on and off 'Operating condition setting request' (Y9) to enable the
parameter setting of the wave output function.
Check the value in the wave data registry area which is used for the channel
to output a wave signal.
During a pause of the wave output, the monitors of the wave output function
can be checked.
After setting HOLD for the analog output HOLD/CLEAR function, set Wave
output pause request (2) for CH Wave output start/stop request to pause the
analog output. Then, check the monitors.
Check CH Wave output status monitor of the channel to output a wave
signal.
If Wave output stop (0) is set to CH Wave output status monitor, set Wave
output start request (1) to CH Wave output start/stop request.
Check the status of 'CH Output enable/disable flag' (Y1 to Y8).
If 'CH Output enable/disable flag' (Y1 to Y8) is off, correct the program.
Check 'External power supply READY flag' (X7), and if the flag is off, supply
24VDC to the external power supply terminals (R60DA4: pin number 16, 17,
R60DAV8/R60DAI8: pin number 17, 18).
Action
Check CH HOLD/CLEAR function setting monitor.
If the setting is incorrect, set the analog HOLD/CLEAR setting to HOLD in the
module parameter setting of the engineering tool, and turn off and on the
programmable controller or reset the CPU module.
