• Outputting of the D/A converter module delays for the output delay time from the inter-module
synchronization cycle. The output delay time is 24.1 to 25.9s.
• When values are output in analog from multiple channels, the analog output is performed in order of the
channel number. Outputting values in analog from each channel delays for the channel switching time after
outputting from the previous channel is completed. The channel switching time is 12.3 to 13.2s.
■Abnormal operation during synchronization
• Operation when a cross-cycles processing occurs
The phenomenon in which the D/A conversion is processed crossing over the inter-module synchronization cycles depending
on the operation timing of the synchronous interrupt program is called Cross cycles. When the phenomenon occurs, an inter-
module synchronization cross-cycles processing error (error code: 2600H) occurs. Whether to continue or stop the operation
of the D/A converter module at the occurrence of an error can be selected with "Output selection error during an inter-module
synchronization" of the module parameter. With the default value, the module continues the operation.
• Operation when a cycle skipping occurs
The phenomenon in which the D/A conversion is not processed during an inter-module synchronization cycle depending on
the operation timing of the synchronous interrupt program is called Cycle skipping. When a cycle skipping occurs, an inter-
module synchronization cycle skipping error (error code: 2601H) occurs. When an error occurs, the D/A converter module
stops the operation regardless of the setting of "Output selection error during an inter-module synchronization" of the module
parameter and the analog output is performed according to the HOLD/CLEAR setting.
• Operation when a synchronization deviation occurs
The phenomenon in which the D/A converter module cannot receive values at the set inter-module synchronization cycle
timing or the module receives values at a timing different from the inter-module synchronization cycle timing is called
Synchronization deviation. When a synchronization deviation occurs, an inter-module synchronization signal error (error
code: 2610H) occurs. Whether to continue or stop the operation of the D/A converter module at the occurrence of an error can
be selected with "Output selection error during an inter-module synchronization" of the module parameter. With the default
value, the module continues the operation.
■Monitor function
When the inter-module synchronization function is used, the inter-module synchronization status can be monitored.
