Connecting new expansion shelves to existing expansion shelves and an existing primary shelf
To connect new expansion shelves to existing expansion shelves
Note: These instructions apply to one existing expansion shelf and one new
expansion shelf. Other scenarios are possible but the cable procedures are the
same.

Verify that the compute node, the primary shelf, and the existing expansion
shelves are turned off.

Verify that your existing primary shelf and expansion shelves are cabled
correctly, as shown.
Four SAS cables connect the primary shelf to the expansion shelf.
