Push up on the cable clip to remove it. Warning: The SFP optic module transceiver and the FC cable use lasers to transmit data. Do not look directly into the SFP module or the end of the FC cable.

To install a Fibre Channel SFP optical transceiver module Put on an ESD-compliant wrist strap or take other ESD-protective measures. HSP #146: Replacing a Fibre Channel SFP optical transceiver module in a Primary Storage Shelf Locate the new SFP module and remove the black end cap. Lift the lever on the new SFP module and slide it into the appliance until it seats firmly in place. Lower the locking lever.

Warning: The SFP optic module transceiver and the FC cable use lasers to transmit data. Do not look directly into the SFP module or the end of the FC cable.
