7 In the Hyperterminal window, enter this command to set the IP address of
the VCX downloader:
nbxSetNcpIpAddress "10.20.30.42"
CAUTION: When configuring the 3C10405B version of the Attendant
Console, you must enclose the IP address portion of the command in
double quotation marks. This must be done for all commands that
include an IP address or dialing domain. Examine the label on the
underside of the Attendant Console to determine the 3C number of any
Attendant Console. Example command format for the 3C10405:
All IP addresses and subnetwork masks used here are examples only. You
must use values appropriate for your network.
8 Enter this command to set the IP address of the Primary VCX Server:
vcxSetCallPIP "10.20.30.41"
9 Enter this command to set the IP address of the Secondary VCX Server:
vcxSetAltCallPIP "10.20.30.42"
10 To assign an IP address that you select to the Attendant Console:
nbxSetIpAddress "192.168.10.101"
11 To define the subnetwork mask for this subnetwork:
nbxSetSubnetMask "255.255.255.0"
12 To define the IP address for the gateway on this subnetwork:
nbxSetGatewayAddress "192.168.10.254"
13 To configure a specific virtual LAN (VLAN) for the 3105B Attendant
Console, enter this command:
vcxSetVLANConfig <Mode>,<ID>
CAUTION: For the model of 3105B Attendant Console, verify that the
command that you enter has the correct upper and lower case characters
and that the Mode and ID values are separated by a comma. Verify that
there are no spaces on either side of the comma.
Mode Values:
0 = Disable
1 = Enable
