Installing the Pressure Sensor Coefficients

If the H-ADCP included a pressure sensor, the pressure sensor coefficients must be loaded.
To install the pressure sensor coefficients:
1. Connect your H-ADCP as you would normally and apply power.
2. Start BBTalk and confirm that the H-ADCP is communicating normally and which communica-
tion port you are using (COM 1 or COM 2).
3. Place the CD into your computer's disk drive.
4. Run xxxxx PRESSURE SENSOR COEFFICIENTS.rds (where xxxx is your system serial number)
to install the pressure sensor coefficients appropriate to the system.
The Pressure coefficients will automatically be updated in your H-ADCP. You can verify the pres-
sure sensor coefficients loaded by viewing the

Testing the System after Board Replacement

To test the system after replace any board(s):
1. Install the Transducer in the Pressure Case.
2. Connect the cable and power as you normally do and test the H-ADCP as shown in
ADCP. All PA tests should pass when run in water and the PC tests should pass with the H-ADCP
out of water.
3. Perform a field calibration of the compass. Use
the AF command. Remember that there will be up to 1.5 degrees of offset error in the compass
measurement. This error is not removed by the field calibration.
You have completed the H-ADCP Spare Board Installation. The original boards can be returned to
