Recover Recorder Using Direct Commands

Another option is to use direct commands to recover the entire recorder data from the H-ADCP recorder.
The following command sequence should be used. Note it is assumed the user has applied power to the H-
ADCP and has setup the communications cable and baud rate properly with a host computer using
BBTalk.

Description
This is a >100ms transition signal sent to the H-ADCP to wake it up. The response will be to
receive the H-ADCP wake-up banner followed by a prompt ">". Example:

This places the H-ADCP in factory default mode. The H-ADCP will respond confirming that it
has been reset to factory defaults, and outputting a prompt. Example:

[Parameters set to FACTORY defaults]

This will start the Y-Modem protocol routine. You will be prompted to select your recording
directory path to save the recorder data. When you click OK, the download will begin. When
the entire recorder is downloaded, the BBTalk program will display "Recovery Complete".
