Place the original in the document feeder tray of the automatic document feeder, or on the
document glass.

Specify the destination.
ENTERING DESTINATIONS
If the sub-address and passcode are stored in the one-touch key, it is not
necessary to take steps 3 to 5. Go to step 6.
Tap the [Sub Address] key.
Enter "/".
Enter the sub-address using the numeric keys.
Tap the [Sub Address] key.
Enter "/".
If a passcode has been omitted in the memory box of the destination machine, it is
not necessary to take steps 6 and 7.
Tap the [Start] key.
Tap the [Preview] key to check the preview of an image before sending a fax. For
more information, see "CHECKING THE IMAGE TO BE TRANSMITTED".
Scanning begins.
