A Guide to Using DCS4 Access Control Workstation

The number used by an individual to identify their or her self to
the Dose Control System. It may or may not be the same as
their Film Badge Number, employee number or other
identification. It is not the same thing as their Database ID.
Person ID
Personal Identification Number
Permit to Work
EPD Storage Rack.
The area where there is a risk of dose, access to which is
controlled by the Thermo Dose Control System
Redundant Array of Independent (or Inexpensive) Disks
Random Access Memory
Radiologically Controlled Area.
RCA Work Permit.
This is the General Work Permit that provides access to areas
within the RCA and Generally to low dose rate areas
