The RCA Exit Process

The Exit Process involves the following steps:
1. Selecting the Exit Process from the main ACW menu –
see

2. Inserting the EPD into the Reader – see
(page
5-3).
3. Entering the Worker Details – see
Worker (page
4. If the RCA Escorts option is enabled in the System
Setup AND Escort Required is enabled for the Worker
(see A Guide to Using DCS4 Data Management and
Reporting Ref No. EPD/MHB/61066/000), the Escort
Details are checked – see
5. If enabled, the Dose Profile is collected from the EPD -
see
Reading Dose Profile (page
6. The EPD is cleared – see
Select the Exit Process from the menu using the Up/Down
buttons and 'ENT'.
Note: If the ACW has been setup for Auto Entry/Exit Process,
the EPD Prompt window is displayed (see
5-3)). The system checks whether the EPD has been issued or
not as follows:
1. If the EPD is issued, the system assumes that the EPD needs
to be returned and commences the Exit Process (see
Exit Process (page
5-2)).
2. If the EPD is not issued, the system assumes that the EPD
needs to be issued and commences the Entry Process (see
RCA Entry Process (page
