An Access Control Terminal set up to perform an Entry
Process.
The process by which an Access Control Terminal controls
entry to the Radiologically Controlled Area. It checks that a
Worker's Primary and/or Secondary ID, the Task number and
the EPD they present are valid, and that the worker has
sufficient Dose in Hand for the task, and then loads the EPD
with the appropriate Alarm Thresholds and records in the
database the worker's entry to the RCA.
