Using the ACW for RCA Exit
Introduction to the RCA Exit Process
The RCA Exit process provides an automated system for
collecting exposure information and completing the record of
the workers visit to the RCA.
This process enables the tracking of stay-time and exposure per
worker. The information is used to prevent personnel exposure
in excess of Administrative Goals and reduce overall worker
exposure.
The System Administrator has the ability to configure the
ACW for Entry, Exit or Transfer Process (or a combination of
them). An ACW that has been configured for the Exit Process
is setup so that a worker may identify themselves or their data
is automatically read from the EPD.
Note: The System Administrator is also able to configure the
type of Worker prompt (see A Guide to Using DCS4 ACW
Manager Ref No. EPD/MHB/61064/000 and A Guide to Using
DCS4 System Administrator Ref No. EPD/MHB/61065/000 for
further information).
If an error occurs or an Exit fails the ACW will display an
error message.
If Display Forename1 instead of Initials at ACW is ticked on
the System Configuration tab of the System Setup screen, the
Worker's name will be displayed as follows:
If Display Forename1 instead of Initials at ACW is NOT ticked
on the System Configuration tab of the System Setup screen,
the Worker's name will be displayed as follows:
Throughout this manual, the Initials option has been set.
See A Guide to Using DCS4 Data Management and Reporting
Ref No. EPD/MHB/61066/000 for further information.
