Chapter 6
Thermo Fisher Scientific
Using the ACW for Task Transfer
Introduction to the RCA Transfer Process
The transfer process is to allow the worker to transfer between
Tasks without having to Exit from the RCA.
The System Administrator has the ability to configure the
ACW for Entry, Exit or Transfer Process (or a combination of
them). An ACW that has been configured for the Transfer
Process is setup so that a worker must identify themselves and
then enter a new Task ID. The system will keep track of the
dose(s) against each separate Task ID.
Note: The System Administrator is also able to configure the
type of Worker and Task prompt. See A Guide to Using DCS4
ACW Manager Ref No. EPD/MHB/61064/000 and A Guide to
Using DCS4 System Administrator Ref No.
EPD/MHB/61065/000 for further information.
If an error occurs or a Transfer fails, the ACW will display an
error message.
