A Guide to Using DCS4 Access Control Workstation
For historical reasons this term was sometimes used instead of
Personal Identification Number. Its origin is the identity
number of a worker's film badge dosemeter. It may still be
convenient to use the film badge number as the Primary ID, but
it is not necessary to do so.

The senior category of user of the Dose Control System. In
addition to the data entry and reporting available to Dosimetry
Clerks, Health Physicists are allowed to set up and edit
technical data such as Dose Credits and Task Alarms, and to
make amendments to Dose records.
