The System Administrator is able to set the type of Worker ID
Prompt for the Worker in the System Setup (see A Guide to
Using DCS4 Data Management and Reporting Ref No.
EPD/MHB/61066/000) or in the Configuration program (see A
Guide to Using DCS4 ACW Manager Ref No.
EPD/MHB/61064/000).
If the Worker Prompt is set to Prompt in the System Setup, the
Worker enters their Primary ID directly:
Note that this option is only useable is there is a qwerty
keyboard attached to the ACW. For further information, contact
Thermo Electron Corporation Software Support.
If the Worker Prompt is set to List in the System Setup, the
Worker must enter '0' in the Enter Primary ID field to display
the Worker Surname screen:
To filter the Worker Surnames, input the required name into the
field. For example, to display Workers whose name is "S R
HILL", enter "HILL:
All workers whose surname is or starts with Hill are displayed,
see below:
Select "1" to select SR Hill:
