Closing an incomplete visit record, when the system has
recorded an entry to the RCA but not an exit from it (e.g. if an
EPD is lost or broken within the RCA)
Entering new data for a visit that was not recorded by the Dose
Control System for some reason.

The process of resetting the current dose credit ID to the default
dose credit ID for every worker, and restarting the calculation
of dose in hand for the new month.
milli-rems. One thousandth of a rem, the base units for
radiation dose measurement. This is the usual preferred unit
used in North America.
milli-Sievert. One thousandth of a Sievert, the base units for
radiation dose measurement. EPDs can display dose in micro-
Sieverts (µSv). This is the usual preferred unit used in the UK.
