7.A. Selecting Shaking Options
1. Select and drag the "Shaking" icon from the Protocol Options to the
Protocol Composer (Figure 14).
2. Touch the "Time" button to select the duration of shaking.
3. Touch the "Intensity" button to select the rate of shaking desired.
4. Touch the "Type" button to select the pattern of shaking desired.
Important: You must use a cover film or plate seal on the plate to prevent
!
spillage and loss of sample when using the plate shaking option. If using low-
density plates with shaking, it is necessary to use a cover film to prevent
spillage and loss of sample.
