17.C. Absorbance Module

The Absorbance Module is required for absorbance detection. If your
instrument does not have this module, contact Promega Technical Services for
information about purchasing and installation of the Absorbance Module. See
Section 22.D for ordering information.
Installing the Absorbance Housing Unit
1. Touch the "Door" button to automatically close the instrument door and
reset the Microplate Sample Tray to Home position.
2. Power off the GloMax
supply from the back of the instrument.

3. Gently tip the GloMax
panel so that the bottom of the instrument is accessible.
4. Using a 3/16 inch Allen wrench remove the four 3/16 inch Allen head
screws from the metal plate cover exposing the interior (Figure 46).
