Mode transition
The following figure and table describe the transition condition for each mode.
Inter-module
synchronization mode
Simultaneous
conversion mode
No.

(1)
Set "Normal mode (high speed: 1s/CH)" for "Operation mode setting" in "Basic setting" of the engineering tool.
(2)
Set "Normal mode (medium speed: 10s/CH" for "Operation mode setting" in "Basic setting" of the engineering tool.
(3)
Set "Normal mode (low speed: 20s/CH" for "Operation mode setting" in "Basic setting" of the engineering tool.
(4)
Set "Offset/gain setting mode" for "Operation mode setting" in "Basic setting" of the engineering tool.

(5)
Set "Simultaneous conversion mode (5s/4CH)" for "Operation mode setting" in "Basic setting" of the engineering tool.

(6)

(8)
Set "Synchronize" for the A/D converter module in the following parameter of the engineering tool.
[System Parameter]  "Synchronization Setting within the Modules"  "Inter-module Synchronous Setting"  "Select Synchronous Target
Unit between Unit"
*1 The normal mode (high speed: 1s/CH), the simultaneous conversion mode, and the inter-module synchronization mode are
independent from the other modes. After the module is started in the normal mode (high speed: 1s/CH), the simultaneous conversion
mode, or the inter-module synchronization mode, the mode cannot be changed to the other modes. After the module is started in a
mode other than the three modes, the mode cannot be switched to the normal mode (high speed: 1s/CH), simultaneous conversion
mode, and inter-module synchronization mode.
*2 The mode is shifted to the normal mode before the transition to the offset/gain setting mode.
*3 The offset/gain setting mode is set at the power-on or at the reset of the CPU module and the mode has never been shifted to the
normal mode, the mode shifts to the normal mode (low speed: 20s/CH).
*4 When "Synchronize" is set for the A/D converter module in "Select Synchronous Target Unit between Unit", the module operates in the
inter-module synchronization mode regardless of "Operation mode setting". To operate the module in the normal mode, simultaneous
conversion mode, or offset/gain setting mode, set "Do Not Synchronize" for the A/D converter module in "Select Synchronous Target
Unit between Unit".
