Online module change
• To execute the continuous logging function during inter-module synchronization, arrange the modules on the same base
unit. If the modules were not arranged on the same base unit, the conversion timing of the modules may differ depending
on the inter-module synchronization accuracy. ( MELSEC iQ-R Inter-Module Synchronization Function Reference
Manual)
• In the normal mode, 'CH1 Synchronization digital output value' (Un\G9500) is fixed to 0.
• When the offset/gain setting mode is set in the operation mode setting, an inter-module synchronization selection offset/
gain setting error (error code: 1EA1H) occurs and the module does not operate.
• When a mode switching setting value is set for 'Mode switching setting' (Un\G296, Un\G297) and 'Operating condition
setting request (Y9)' is turned on, a mode switching request error (alarm code: 0D00H) occurs and the ALM LED turns on.
In this case, the mode is not switched and the synchronization processing continues. Turn on and off 'Error clear request'
(YF) to clear the alarm that occurred.

Remarks
During inter-module synchronization, sampling processing or
moving average processing can be specified. However, set the
same A/D conversion method for all channels.
The scaling function cannot be used. When the function is set to
be enabled, the setting is ignored.
The value set for 'CH1 Conversion value shift amount' (Un\G472)
is disabled.
The digital clipping function cannot be used. When the function is
set to be enabled, the setting is ignored.
When 'CH1 Difference conversion trigger' (Un\G470) is set, the
setting is ignored.
Rate alarm cannot be used. When the function is set to be
enabled, the setting is ignored.
For details on enabling the continuous logging function, refer to
the following.
Page 95 Continuous Logging Function
When continuous logging is executed, no interrupt is detected.
During inter-module synchronization, the online module change is
disabled.
If the online module change is attempted during the inter-module
synchronization, an online module change error (error code:
4206H) is stored in Online module change error cause (SD1618)
and the module cannot be changed.
If the module is changed, a module verification error (error code:
2400H) occurs in the CPU module.
