3.8 Main Circuit Wiring

◆ Protecting Main Circuit Terminals

Insulation Caps or Sleeves
Use insulation caps or sleeves when wiring the drive with crimp terminals. Take particular care to ensure that the wiring
does not touch nearby terminals or the surrounding case.
Insulation Barrier
Insulation barriers are packaged with drive models CIMR-U40477 through 40930 to provide added protection
between terminals. Yaskawa recommends using the insulation barriers provided to ensure proper wiring. See
for instructions on where the insulation barriers should be placed.

Close the protective cover after wiring the main circuit terminals on 20028 to 20081, 40011 to 40077.
