NEO Lighting Control Console
Auto create playback with a new cue list - When a new cue list is created a cue list playback will automatically be
created and assigned to the new cue list.
Use fade mode up/down (off - in/out) - This option allows you to work the way you are familiar with on other
consoles. By default NEO fades cues with incoming channels and outgoing channels. Up/Down fade mode means
that the channel or attributes increasing in value will fade in the "Up" time and channels or attributes decreasing in
value will fade in the "Down" time.
NEO NOTES & TIPS: With Fade mode in Up/Down (not In/Out) the next option is as the option does not apply.
NEO NOTES & TIPS: Cue List time options change when this is turned off.
Cue "Fade Out" applies to outgoing cue - Some lighting systems apply the fade out of a cue differently to NEO.
With this mode turned on the fade out of a cue applies to the cue executed before this one.
Follow to run next cue - with this option on, Follow works in a traditional theatrical console style where the follow
time goes on the cue that is "triggering" the follow and not the cue that is "triggered". If this is off, then it works in the
traditional LightFactory mode where the follow time goes on the cue that is "triggered".
Don't record parked channels - By default parked channels are recorded into cues. If you do not want parked
channels recorded (e.g. house lights) you can enable this option.
Last cue links to cue 0 - with this option on, when you get to the last cue of the show, pressing GO will go back and
start the cue list again at cue 0. With this option off, it will function as a traditional theatrical console.
Looping cue lists to apply state - with this option on, looping cue list will output no differently than if they were
non-looping. The entire state of each cue shall output.
Auto set out/down - with this option on and a cue time is changed, it will apply equally to the in/up as to the out/
down.
Set shortcut mode per page - The shortcut mode refers to the 4up mode or the standard mode. By default this is a
global setting for all shortcut pages. By turning this option on the mode can be set for each page.
Default filter library - choose the gel manufacturer so that Command Line entry for color filters works.
Channel Group Defaults
The channel group defaults will apply every time a new channel group is created. Set the default fade time and
behavior using the controls provided.
Fade Time - default fade time set for future recorded groups.
Group Behavior
A channel group can behave in one of many ways when setting the actual output values. To change the behavior of a
group select the desired option from the drop down menu accessed by clicking on the small arrow to the right of the
field.
Override (LTP) - Also known as "Latest Takes Precedence". This is the default behavior of channel groups. This
behavior will apply the channel levels set in the group to output channels and take over control of that channel. As
soon as something else sets the channel value the group value will get overridden. Likewise as soon as the group
value changes it will override the existing values set in the channel.
Build - The values set in the channel group will be added to the current output value of the channels.
Exclusive - All other channels will be set to zero and only the channels in this group will be applied.
Highest Takes Precedence (HTP) - When a group value is set with HTP behavior the output on the channel is
determined by what has a higher value. If the value set in the group is higher than the value in the channel then the
group will control the channel. If the value in the channel is higher than the group value it will remain unchanged.
