INTRODUCTION
1. Preface
The introduction of the NEO lighting control console marks a new chapter in the evolution of control. This console
allows the ability to seize light; to grab, move, change position, color and motivate the lighting design simply and
effectively. The NEO lighting control console is the closest that a designer can get to actually touching the light;
encompassing the dreams and aspirations of both professionals and amateurs alike.
The NEO lighting control console starts with the inclusion of many timesaving features, allowing the user to program
faster and more accurately. NEO is a native graphical interface console with Command Line support. NEO allows the
user to choose between traditional Command Line style operation and touchscreen style operation using the
Graphical User Interface.
With advanced features for all lighting situations, from museum to stage shows, NEO does it all. Control up to 100
DMX Universes with 25,000 control channels. Authorization can be purchased in DMX Universe blocks for a truly
scalable system.
This manual will take you through all of the features of the software and show you how to use it to its fullest
potential.

Congratulations on your purchase of a Strand Lighting NEO Lighting Control Console. This manual provides
important information regarding safety, installation, and operation for all console hardware components.
Familiarizing yourself with this information will help you get the most out of your lighting system.
This manual describes the installation and operation procedures for the following models:
• 91001, NEO Lighting Control Console
• Avoid spilling liquid on the equipment. If this should happen, switch the equipment off immediately. To reduce the
risk of fire or electric shock, do not expose the equipment to rain or moisture.
• For indoor use only.
• This equipment is designed and manufactured to comply with international safety standards IEC950, UL1950,
CS950 and is intended for use as part of a lighting control system. It must not be used for other purposes where
there is a risk of safety to persons. The equipment contains power voltages, socket outlets will be installed near the
equipment and be easily accessible.
• Working Voltage/Current: 90 - 240VAC
• Frequency: 50/60 Hz
• Maximum Ambient Temperature: 50° C (122° F)
• Do not restrict ventilation
