Enabling LLDP

LLDP is enabled by default. Enable and disable LLDP globally or per interface. If you enable LLDP globally, all UP interfaces send
periodic LLDPDUs.
To enable LLDP, use the following command.
1.
Enter Protocol LLDP mode.
CONFIGURATION or INTERFACE mode
protocol lldp
2.
Enable LLDP.
PROTOCOL LLDP mode
no disable

Disabling and Undoing LLDP

To disable or undo LLDP, use the following command.
Disable LLDP globally or for an interface.
disable
To undo an LLDP configuration, precede the relevant command with the keyword no.

Enabling LLDP on Management Ports

LLDP on management ports is enabled by default.
To enable LLDP on management ports, use the following command.
1.
Enter Protocol LLDP mode.
CONFIGURATION mode
protocol lldp
2.
Enable LLDP.
PROTOCOL LLDP mode
no disable
