This chapter describes troubleshooting for the RJ71CN91.

Checking with LED

This section describes troubleshooting using LED.
Error status can be determined by status of the RUN LED and the ERR LED.

When the RUN LED turns off

Does any error occur in the module diagnostics?
When the CAN ERR LED turns on or is flashing

Is any error displayed in 'Error status' (Un\G29)?

Error status
Description
Major error
An error such as hardware failure or memory failure. The module stops operating.
Moderate error
An error, such as parameter error, which affects module operation. The module stops
operating.
Minor error
An error such as communication failure. The module continues operating.
If an error with error code 1804H (bus off state occurrence) occurs, it is necessary to restart
the module to restore communication.

Securely mount the RJ71CN91 on the base unit.
