Table 5-5. ADSL Auto-Test Setup Parameters

Change the Setup parameters, if desired.
ANSI: Runs a frequency sweep of the full ADSL spectrum (8 kHz to
1104 kHz), with a data encoding limit of 15 Bits / Tone.
G.Lite: Runs a truncated sweep (8 kHz to 552 kHz), with a maximum
data encoding limit of 8 Bits / Tone.

Running an ADSL Auto-Test

1.
From the XDSL Toolbox, select

ADSL Auto-Test

Connect the Sending and Receiving Units as shown in the diagram.
3.
If the "Sending Unit" is another CopperPro, press A(
press K.

If the "Sending Unit" is a TN2100 "Terminator", simply turn it on.

On the "Receiving Unit", select B(
