VF Noise Test
This test performs a "snapshot" measurement of the voice frequency Metallic
Noise (Nm) and Power Influence (PI) on the pair.
Setting Up a VF Noise Test
To set up a VF Noise test, follow the instructions under "Displaying a Setup
Menu" in Chapter 3. Refer to Table 4-7 for VF Noise test setup parameters.

VF Noise Test Results
To run this test, follow the instructions under "Starting and Stopping a Test in
the POTS Toolbox", earlier in this chapter.
Figure 4-24 is an example of a VF Noise test results screen. In this example,
the pair has acceptable Metallic Noise (Nm), but the Power Influence (PI)
value is above the acceptable threshold as defined in Setups.
