Cleaning Burners
Objective
Remove breading, dust and obstructions from burner assemblies. Partially obstructed burners
lower the BTU / KW output of the fryer which can affect cook times, product quality, and
doneness.

Procedure
1. Disconnect power to the fryer.
2. Turn off the gas supply to the fryer at the shut off valve.
3. Remove both left and right burner assembly from the fryer:
a. Disconnect wiring for the flame sensor, and spark ignitor on each burner.
b. Disconnect the manifold gas line and the pilot gas line to each burner.
c. Remove the four mounting screws indicated in Figure 1.
4. Using compressed air, blow out debris from all of the holes in the burner inserts shown in Figure
2. Blow out all debris from the Venturri shown in Figure 3.
5. Ensure the burner orifices shown in Figure 4. are clean and free from debris. If debris exists,
gently remove it by hand with an orifice cleaning tool or a small drill bit.
6. Re-install burners in reverse order of steps 1 – 3.
