Notes:
For the parameter to take effect, a device reset is required.
The parameter is applicable only to Mediant 3000 with TP-8410.
When the parameter is enabled, user VLANs are not supported (i.e.,
VlANMode is set to 1).
For a description of the Physical Network Separation feature, see
Physical Network Separation Mode on page 661.
Defines the port allocation for the Physical Network Separation feature.
[0] 3 Interfaces: M + C+ OAMP = (Default) Each interface is allocated
a dedicated port:
Media on the GE port of the RTM
Control on port labeled 1 of the PEM
OAMP on port labeled 2 of the PEM
[1] 3 Interfaces: M&C + OAMP = Media and Control are allocated to
the same port (GE port of RTM) and OAMP is allocated to a
dedicated port (Port 2 of PEM). In the Interface table, make sure that
you have configured an interface for OAMP only ('Application Type'
field set to OAMP) and configured all other interfaces for Media and
Control combined ('Application Type' field set to Media + Control).

Enables VLANs tagging (IEEE 802.1Q).

For this parameter to take effect, a device reset is required.
To operate with multiple network interfaces, VLANs must be enabled.
If this parameter is enabled, separate physical networks for Media,
OAMP, and Control network types (configured with the
EnableNetworkPhysicalSeparation parameter) is disabled.
VLANs are available only when booting the device from flash. When
booting using BootP/DHCP protocols, VLANs are disabled to allow
easier maintenance access. In this scenario, multiple network
interface capabilities (including IPv6) are unavailable.
Defines the Native VLAN ID. This is the VLAN ID to which untagged
incoming traffic is assigned. Outgoing packets sent to this VLAN are sent
only with a priority tag (VLAN ID = 0).
When the Native VLAN ID is equal to one of the VLAN IDs listed in the
Multiple Interface table (and VLANs are enabled), untagged incoming
traffic is considered as incoming traffic for that interface. Outgoing traffic
sent from this interface is sent with the priority tag (tagged with VLAN ID
= 0).
When the Native VLAN ID is different to any value in the 'VLAN ID'
column in the table, untagged incoming traffic is discarded and all
outgoing traffic is tagged.
The default Native VLAN ID is 1.
