8.1 Overview

The enAble50 control unit features outstanding versatility, smooth and responsive operation
and concise colour displays. Various input devices can be used alternately in order to meet the
needs of users.

With the enAble50 control unit, the power wheelchair can indicate the causes of error messages
on the display.
Root causes of errors in the drive and in the power options are identified through flashing of
the corresponding sections in the display's pictogram or a visual display on the separate LCD
monitor (see section 7.2).
The handheld programming device can be used to make parameter changes (can be ordered
separately).
