Making Measurements with the Agilent E-Series Power Sensors
and N8480 Series Power Sensors (excluding Option CFT)
This section describes how to make continuous wave measurements using the
Agilent E- Series power sensors and N8480 Series power sensors (excluding
Option CFT) . The Agilent E- Series power sensors and N8480 Series power
sensors (excluding Option CFT) have their sensor calibration tables stored in
EEPROM. This allows the frequency and calibration data to be downloaded to
the power meter automatically.
To make measurements, perform the following steps:
1 Zero and calibrate the power meter.
2 Set the frequency for the signal you want to measure.
3 Take a reading.
