Step 5. Press down on the blue latch on the top (in the center of the front of the server) of the cover.

Step 6. If necessary, lock the cover.

Step 7. Slide the server back into the rack until it latches.
Step 8. Reconnect the external cables and power cords.

Removing the air baffle

Use this information to remove the air baffle.
To remove the air baffle, complete the following steps:
Step 1. Read the safety information that begins on "Safety" on page v and "Installation guidelines" on
page 100.
Step 2. Turn off the server and peripheral devices and disconnect the power cords and all external cables
(see "Turning off the server" on page 27).
Step 3. Remove the cover (see "Removing the cover" on page 104).
