• Discharges heat generated from the interior parts (including the DC power supply, transfer belt
section, toner cartridges/C, M, Y, and motor drives) from the main body to prevent the interior
temperature from rising inordinately.
• Discharges heat generated from the print head from the main body to prevent the print head
temperature from becoming inordinately high.
• Removes ozone produced from the toner cartridges and charging section.
• The air flow path extends from the upper surface of the low-voltage power supply through the
duct inside the toner cartridge rail to the area beneath the print head housing, so that no air flows
in areas around the toner cartridge. This prevents toner particles from being scattered around
inside the machine.
