STARTING PROCEDURE

NOTE
• Make sure not to reveal the password of the service mode to any unauthorized person.

Procedure
1. Select [COUNTER] on the menu screen and press the Menu/Select key.
2. Press the following keys in this order.
Cancel/Access -> down key -> down key -> Cancel/Access -> down key -> up key
3. Set first digit of password with the up key/down key and press the right key.
4. Repeat the above procedures to set up to eighth digit of password.
Enter "92729272" for service password.
5. Press the Menu/Select key.

Exiting procedure

• Press the Cancel/Access key.

3.3.1 TEMPERATURE

• To adjust the fusing heating temperature individually for each paper type so as to ensure good fusing performance that varies with varying
environmental conditions.
• When fusing performance is poor, or wax streak or offset occurs when the type of paper is changed or environmental conditions change.
• Use this function when curled paper, or paper jam as a result of the curled paper, occurs under varying environmental conditions or
depending on the type of paper used.
