Action
[x] is the number of the network connection.
Try one or more of the following:
• Touch Continue to clear the message.
• Turn the printer off and then back on to reset the printer.
Try one or more of the following:
• Verify the fax number, and then send the fax again.
• Schedule to send the fax at a later time.
The e-mail contact or at least one member of the group you selected
does not have an e-mail address. Try one or more of the following:
• Touch Yes to enter the e-mail address, and then touch Accept
every time you add a recipient.
• Touch Edit the Group to enter the missing e-mail addresses, and
then touch Accept every time you add a recipient.
• Touch Send Anyway to send the e-mail only to the group members
with e-mail addresses.
• Touch No to cancel the e-mail.
Load the original document faceup into the ADF, and then touch OK.
Try one or more of the following:
• Select the paper tray with the correct paper size or type.
• Touch Paper Loaded, Continue to continue printing after loading
the correct paper size and paper type in the default paper tray.
• Press
to cancel the current job.
Try one or more of the following:
• Touch Yes to clear the message.
• Touch Change Settings, and then select the paper size and paper
type of the media loaded. Touch Accept for each selection
Insert the specified paper tray into the printer, or touch OK.
Connect the telephone cord to the correct jack at the back of the
printer, and then touch OK.
If the printer is sharing the line with other devices, then make sure
these devices are not in use.
The printer cannot detect a dial tone. Check for a dial tone on your
telephone line.
Make sure the printer is connected to a standard analog telephone line,
and then touch OK.
The remaining pages will not print. Touch Continue to print the pages
that were saved in the printer memory, and then collate the remainder
of the print job.
Try one or more of the following:
• Touch OK.
• Remove any obstructions to the printhead inside the printer.
• Close the printer.
There is a problem with the printhead. Contact technical support.
